New Word

Today's word is brought you in part by, Papa! We were at their house for a visit, and I told him about our word of the week. He suggested the following word:

BLOVIATE

I hope you can figure this one out. I had not idea! But then, I ususally do not know the answer.

See you soon!

Answer:

blo⋅vi⋅ate

  [bloh-vee-eyt]:
to speak pompously

Good job, momma!  You knew where the word came from!  Thanks, Papa for helping me this week!

I have been so busy today that I forgot about this! So sorry! My guess: "To slowly remove ones fingers from a car door" hehehe. I love making things up.

Sounds like some kind of farm-y cow word. My vote is "the act of a cow licking it's nose." That sounds gross even as I type it. Ha!

Totally way off! Good word though! Could be used for LOTS of people! (Not any of us though) :)

unnecessary words

**bill o'reilly uses it at the end of his tv shows**

if we made a post using all these words, we probably would be bloviaters :)

(i must admit i had some help with this one from my husband. i knew i had heard that word before and that it was from a man on tv. he said bill o'reilly - then i remembered. i'm just not good with stuff like that)
