Who Wants Candy?

We recently went to Sam's and bought this bag of candy.
No, we didn't go specifically to buy this bag of candy.
It was there, and it was just calling our name.
We knew when we bought it, that we would be
dividing it in half.
Half would stay at our house, and half would go to
T's work.  The secretary administrative assistant
puts out snacks for the employees.

I decided I would count how many pieces of candy were actually in the bag.

So, me being me, I just had to separate it by kind.

No, I don't have any problems with OCD, honest, I don't!

Here is the break down of the candy:

16 Hershey bars
32 Whoppers
20 Kit Kat
20 Almond Joy
and
35 Reese's PB Cups

The GRAND total of pieces of candy

123

Woo-Hoo, we made out on the deal!

Just in case you were wondering.

Yes, we still have some candy left.  I cannot speak for the
people at T's work, but I doubt they have any left.

In a Slump ~Updated

This title has sat here for at least 10 minutes.  I just can't think of anything to blog about.  Well, maybe that isn't true.  I have things to blog about.  I have a lot of pictures I could upload.  I  have things we have been doing.    I just have NO motivation.

Until I can find some motivation...

A New Project to Work On

Sunday, August 22, we had rain all day.
And I mean ALL day.  A total of 4" fell
in our area.  Our backyard no longer had
a pond, it was a lake.

With all the rain and the wind, we found (at 9:15 pm)
out we had a roof leak.  We are praising the Lord
that it was above our old room, which we
recently moved out of!

Here is what the ceiling looked like in our old room.

T had already take down the light fixture, due to the fact
it was what collected all the water.

Here is what it looked like from the bottom.
There were layers of ceiling.
Old fashion tiles as well as lath and plaster.
And of course, they didn't use bats of insulation,
they used the blown in kind.

Here is what the room looked like the morning the team
came in to tear it all out.

Did mention, that up until the night before the room was
still full of junk valuable stuff?

The Saturday (the 21st) before, I has spent the day cleaning out the closet.
I had managed to get the clothing out, but EVERYTHING else
was still in there.

Did I forget to mention, we went to the state fair on
Thursday (the 26th) before they came on Friday?
Oh, yes, they called while we were at the fair
to tell us they would be here Friday morning
at 10:30.

Yup, after spending the day at the fair, we came home to box up,
more to other rooms and/or throw away all the stuff!

We ( I ) were exhausted!

Part 2 coming soon!

~ So ~

{I was a little busy to stay on top of things, so I reposted this}

So I have only just updated last week's word of the week, and I am late in
posting this week's word.  I guess that it what happens when you start school
and then proceed to take at least one day off each week.  Everything falls
behind.  Yes, today is Day 15 and we are on our third day off.  I know,
if I was going to take so many days off, why didn't I just wait to start
school.  Well, I wanted to get things under way so we could say we
had "days to play with", which is good, T is off today and tomorrow.
That is also why my posts are slow in coming.  When I do sit at my desk,
I have so much school work to do, I do not really have time to post.

I won't leave you all wondering, here it it!

Good luck, everyone!

Oh. My. Goodness.

I do believe I am in love!

Have you seen these.  It is the new iPod nano!

I think I just might "need" one of these!

Oh, and did you see all that is new about the new iTouch?

No, then just go here and you can read all about it.

Introducing the new iPod touch. Now with FaceTime, Retina display, HD video recording, and Game Center.

Didn't I just read somewhere that it was only 4  months until Christmas?
