Here at our house, the Spring COLD is going around. Things here are loud and slow! This nasty bug is taking everything the children have, and it is not pretty. So far, Beth and I are the only ones strong enough to fight it off. We are all praying the sick ones will feel better soon.
Today our word is.........
~PREVARICATE~
Momma is on a roll, people!
Let's see what we can do about that!
Let's see what we can do about that! I am thinking that our word of the week needs a catchy name. I am having trouble thinking of one however, and if y'all have any suggestions....feel free to let me know.
I'll be waiting!
Thanks for the guesses, I liked my brother's guess. It was too funny. BB, I can't believe they teach these words to high-schoolers, either. Latin would have come in handy with this weeks word, so you might be on to something, momma.
So, here is the answer:
Prevaricate: [pri-var-i-keyt] v. to evade the truth in a deceptive or ambiguous manner.
Do not prevaricate by withholding part of the truth: answer each question completely and honestly.
I don't know if I would ever use this word, but now at least I can spell it.

What your legs look like before varicose veins. That's Daddy's guess. :)
I can't believe kids actually learn these words. No idea. Nice guess Sissy. Ha!
haha!!! i love the varicose vein comment!
i don't know this one :( so, i'm taking a guess - to change the order of what is, or should be, first.
on a side note, we've been trying to teach the kiddies some spanish and i told big man that we need to be teaching princess latin so that she can help me with this word thing!
how about telling lies? i am sorry to hear about your "sickys" hope they will be on the mend soon.
i think grandma's guess was the closest. i'll pass my star to her!
