Sleep-Over / Name That Movie

Last Friday night the children had a sleep-over.

SLEEP-OVER: when one set of children (either both girls or both boys) sleep over in the other children's room.

I am not sure how this activity got started. I just know that for some reason during the school year, this is what they like to do. They do not do it as often as they used too, as both rooms have 2 dressers, 2 beds, bookcases and desks. There just isn't enough room in their rooms.

Those who are on FB, have been kept somewhat up-to-date with the progress of our new room. For those of you not aware, that post will be coming soon.

Anyway, we finished the carpet on Thursday night and come Friday, they wanted to have a sleep-over in our new room. Before the sleep-over, they were able to watch a movie and we could hear the children laughing all the way down in the basement. The following is a scene from the movie.

James and the Giant Peach. Not quite sure why that kept coming to mind. You should start this as a weekly (or whenever they have sleep overs) thing. I love guessing when I have no clue! I like making things ups.

the pirates who don't do anything (veggie tales) is the only movie that i can think of for this, except that i'm pretty sure i'm wrong since there are NO vegetables in the picture :)

my kiddies do something similar. every friday during the school year is family movie night at our house, and then they sleep in each other's room - one on the floor, and one in the bed. i'm sure the sleeping over will end as princess gets older.
