Toothache

We are home and Ty is resting after his surgery today. His appointment was at 9:30 a.m. and he was not called in until 10:30 a.m. We were able to see him around 11:15 or so. He was completely sedated and does not remember much of what went on. On the way home, he was just a tad emotional and grumpy. We needed to stop and fill prescriptions, and we should have just brought him home and filled them later. By the time Tom was done with the rx, Ty was in some pain. So, he took his medicine and we brought him home and put him to bed.

Thank you for your prayers! The surgeon said he did well. He goes back next Monday for a follow-up appointment. The baby teeth that were removed crumbled when they were taken out, and he mentioned that the they would have only lasted him anywhere from a couple of months to a year. It is a good thing we had them removed! The tooth that was the biggest issue, ended up coming out without any trouble, and they were able to remove it all in one piece and not saw it into pieces to get it out. Ty was able to bring his "teeth" home with him, and I am sure the children will get a kick out of checking them out when he feels better. Plus, I am betting that a microscope will be involved!
