In Review

Sunday - In getting ready for church last week, I chose a dress that I hadn't worn in a long time.  As I was getting ready (the dress was across my bed) I started crying.  I hadn't worn that dress since my Grandma's funeral.  I really thought it wouldn't bother me, but I just couldn't wear it.  Silly me.

Then, once we arrived at church, I went into the ladies room and slipped on the slippery floor.  Landed on my knee and ankle and poked my heel into a sensitive part of my antomy.  :-)  Thankfully, other than being a little sore and embarassed, there were no lasting efffects.

Monday - Spent the day at home, taking it easy.  I didn't even have to take the teens to work.  T came home and picked up Ty and Beth had the day off.

Tuesday -  A repeat of Monday, except I did take Beth to work.  When T came home from work.  We started working on some of out "to do list".  We made a list of the supplies needed, headed out to grab  Papa John's for dinner and then picked up Beth after work.  We went to Lowe's, bought the needed items and returned home.

We live in a house that is more than 100 years old.  So, needless to say, no little job is ever a LITTLE job.  We ended up spending quite a bit of time fixing a leaky faucet.  Oh, why did I want the water to stop leaking?

Wednesday -  Bad, bad day.  We won't even talk about it!

Thursday - BAD, BAD, BAD day!  Nope, you do not want to know!  The only thing I did was take Ty to work.

Friday - A better day.  T took me to lunch. I ran some errands, did a little shopping and got an adjustment,  it was a much better day.

Today we (T) worked around the house and the children spent the day building snow forts.  We also tried to get our act together to outfit our new closet.  Talk about a trial.  By the end of the day, we are happy with what we found, we just need to make a few returns and tweak it a bit.

I, myself, am staying away from slippery bathroom floors at church :-D tomorrow!
