The day Lys was supposed to get her picture taken, she couldn't decide what to wear. Being the mom that I am, I went to her room to help her decide.
Well, when I looked in her (actually their, the girls share a room) closet, I was dumb-founded by the amount of clothing I found!
Mind you, this picture is of only church dresses, shirts and sweaters!
After trying on each and every each article of clothing that was near to the correct size, (yes, we had dresses in sizes she had long out-grown!) I was amazed. Simply amazed!
This is the pile of clothes in need of parting with, as well as all the hangers! I recently had to buy more hangers, because we were running low!
Now, I know why!
This is a true representation of the clothing now hanging on her side of the closet.
Her sister is so happy to have more room! I can't say that I blame her.
I am deeply ashamed of myself for letting "her"closet get so out of hand. I guess that is what happens when one occupant of the room is "old enough" to sort/purge on her own and the other still needs mom's help.
I have learned my lesson.
