A Chair Story

One day I decided I wanted a new chair(s) for the dinning room table.  I have wanted said chair(s) for quite awhile.

While out shopping this week, I found a chair.  Yes, just one...two would have been better. We bought said chair, brought it home and put it to the table.  I love like this chair A LOT.  It is so comfy and it "fits" me just right.  Well, because our table has a supports from leg to leg, the chair sits too high.  At this point, I am sad...very sad.  Did I mention how much I love like this chair???

The next morning I decided to try the chair again and it is just not the best/most comfortable way to sit to the table.  If only the table didn't have the extra support.  Still sad...very sad.  In the course of my day, running up and down stairs to do laundry, school and finish my to-do list I have an epiphany!

Why not try the chair at my school desk.  After all, it is where I spend the most time.  Up the chair and I go.  I'm getting happier and happier each step I climb.  I just know hope this is going to work.  I finally get (have you tried to go up stairs with a chair in your hands? not so easy when you have short legs) to the top and bring my chair to the schoolroom, much to the children's surprise!

I move my big, grey monster of a chair out of the way and lovingly place my beautiful, new chair up to my desk.  Ahh, it's wonderful.  I have found a home for this chair that I love find so comfortable.

I tell you all of this to say I walked into the schoolroom after returning from doing laundry and this is what I find...

I'm sad to say the chair is still at L's desk...it just didn't work at my desk either.

But at least it has an owner who loves it as much as I do!
