Here are some of the things that I haven't mentioned yet:
1. While Beth and I waited to check-in at the NW counter, Ty went to "play" on the playground. The last time we had flown, it was all new and he was only 6. Needless to say when he came back, he said it was not as much fun as he remembered! Hmmm, I wonder why?!
2. Ty, Beth and I spent about 5 hours at the airport, instead of the hour and twenty minutes we had planned.
3. Beth is a much better "attention payer" / "payer of attention", I don't know what you want to call it, but she just pays attention better to what is going on around her. Ty well, he was fun to have along. Who would we have picked on?! We had to tell him no less than six times what gate we had to get to for our next flight while we were in Detroit!
4. I had to yell at them for running through one of the airports on one of the moving "sidewalks"! Yes, you read that right, I had to yell at my 15 & 16 year olds. UGH! They wanted to race and silly me, thinking they meant just to see who could walk faster, said it was okay. Thankfully there was NO ONE around when they decided to act like children, bad, bad, children. ;-)

5. We went through the day with having very little to eat. We did have lunch of pizza/pasta in Syracuse, but other than that, our food intake consisted of pretzels, wheat thins, m&m cookies and complimentary beverages.
6. Ty was extremely grateful for not having anything other than pretzels before our last flight. It was that BAD!
7. We arrived in SD extremely late, 11:40 pm (12:40 am our time) and stayed up for quite a bit after that. What were we thinking?! That family is great!
We are having thankful for each of you who were praying and thinking good thoughts of us. We are so blessed to have so many who love us.
We spent the day taking it easy on Thursday and we watched my niece's soccer game. Then, it was time to pack and get ready for my return trip home.
