1. to make smart or spruce:

She titivated her old dress with anew belt.

Good guesses everyone! Thanks for playing.

Sorry, I don't have much else today.

School is going slow.

The end.

P.S. It is FOUR months to Christmas.

That is unless you are on my side of the family.

Then it is only THREE months.

Bye!

Organizing

This seems to be the story of my life lately.

Organizing for school, dresser drawers, closets, you name it,
and I have probably done it!

I thought I would give you a little peek into my schoolroom
closet.

This is the before

Yes, it was dreadful!  I couldn't find anything.
Every time I wanted something, no less than
five things would fall off.

One day, I'd had enough!  I'd been eye-ing
this cute little drawers that were on the
clearance rack at Office Max and this
seemed like the perfect shop-portunity!

So, without further ado...

the after shot!  It is so much better! I can find things,
others can find things, and things do not fall on the floor!!

I should probably tell you this.

The labels have fallen off.  And a few more things
have found their way to the empty spot in front.

Just keeping it real!

It's Baaacckkk! *Updated

Are you ready?  Have you missed your weekly
dose of words that the "average Joe"
doesn't know?

Well, wait no longer!

ADSCITITIOUS: ad-si-tish-uhs

–adjective
added or derived from an external source; additional.

So while I am happy that Luc is using his dictionary well,
he doesn't get the prize.

Thanks for playing!  I missed y'all
over the summer, welcome back.

Okay, just so you know, blogger is telling me this
work is spelled incorrectly!

Have fun, I can't wait to see what you have to say!

Seven

It is just 7 days and school starts.  I am/am not ready for it to begin.
I know that half of the children are ready for it to begin and I know
that half of the children are not ready for it.

I still have things to do to be ready.  I am not sure if that has ever happened before.
I think running children to/from work, took the place of getting ready.

Oh, well!  After 12 years of homeschooling, I think it is safe to say I can wing it!

If there are any readers who still care, the word of the week will be starting soon!

That is if I can pull myself away from 'words with friends'.  lol
